I adore Salzburg.  It is austere, yet warm and has the nicest cafe society you can imagine.  The lovely shades of Salzburg grey are cheered up with pastel pink and yellow colored buildings as well as the many charming wrought iron signs, especially on the renowned Getreidegasse.  The light rain we had only enhanced Salzburg’s charms.  My most favorite cup of espresso on our entire trip to Europe was at the Cafe Mozart in Salzburg.  Wunderbar!
