Memorabilia from the cantina
sequence in the film Star Wars.

"We don't serve their kind!"  a "human" sculpt of mine
Don Rickles? Or another cantina alien? A sculpt of mine...

my sculpt of the early Rick Baker wolf man mask used in the cantina
Djas Puhr, yet another cantina mask (with an Outer Limits vibe!) that I sculpted

My recreation of the bully from the cantina... "I don't like you either!"
a more dramatically lit look at the pair!
Walrusman/Wioslea "hands". Latex replicas sculpted and finished by me.
the "Givin", an obscure, Star Wars Cantina alien I sculpted years ago
Devil Guy Cantina alien - display mask by me.
my Snaggletooth, in an alternate style from he head on the costume display
A bald obscure Cantina alien mask ("Mosep" aka "walrus"), made by me
A white haired version of the same alien (there were two in the film)
my mask along side a "crocker" sculpted by Harry Inman (right)
Cantina Band Member mask, created by a friend.
Gotal alien mask, a (wonderful!) gift from a friend
Hammerhead display head, made for me by a friend
A look at some of my collection of Star Wars cantina memorabilia.  Many of the props, wardrobe and paperwork are originals used in the production of the film.
Original alien mask and hands of the character who would eventually be named Nabrun Leids
Though only briefly seen in the film, this is the original mask for the fly alien (eventually named Tzizvvt the Brizzit).
Pre-production sketches and notes used in creating the fly alien. It's always interesting to see the progression and nice to be able to keep the paperwork and mask together.
Snaggletooth's costume.  Original wardrobe from Star Wars with a custom head, boots and hunchbacked mannequin by me. For more display work like this, visit: Tom Spina Designs
Original Greedo style alien hands from Star Wars, along with a pre-production sketch of the character and a set of "spines" which were made for the production but went unused.
A neat pair of items.  These are transport and storage crates for "Snaggletooth" and "Gas Mask Head" aka Nabrun Leids.
Duros alien heads and hands.  The hands are from the original molds and the heads also trace back to original pieces.
Several other preproduction sketches for the praying mantis alien, the obscure alien Leesub Sirlin and an unrealized "grasshopper" alien.
The pieces below are reproduction masks and busts.
Except where noted, all were created by me.
The original Walrusman Blaster.  Stripped after production, the prop has been completed with a  red handle and scope.  The blaster can also be seen carried by one of Jabba's goons in the added docking bay scene in the ANH Special Edition
