Editing

To add a code to your myspace site, all you gotta do first is click [edit profile] on your myspace home page.

When you get to the [edit profile] page, you will see a bunch of blank text boxes. Copy and paste layout or any other important codes to customize your profile in you [about me] section && can also write in it to show up on your page. For more codes, Check out the Html Help Main Page.

Adding HTML Codes

You can also add special codes into the [I’d Like To Meet] section.

Tip: Layout codes do not work in the [I’d Like To Meet] section. Only insert it in [about me].

Getting Started

(This is the old version) When you’re at your xanga [Look and Feel] edit page, you must first change from “create a custom header” to “Input your own Header HTML”

When you have done that, you may paste your xanga html layout code of choice to customize your layout.

Add Some Extras

Some Layouts may need you to insert a website stats code for special features. Scroll down and insert that code after you inserted the main layout code in the [Website Stats] module.

Getting Started

Facebook is fairly different from your myspace or xanga. Sadly, you don’t get to customize your own page with funky html stuff. But it is a lot more organized to chat and communicate with friends.

To edit your facebook page, go up to [edit] next to profile. There is many things to fill in. Click on the [Profile] tab to add your intrests and about you.

Picture Perfect

Every Profile has to have a profile picture. To add your profile picture, click on [Picture] tab and [Choose a file] You can only upload JPG, GIF, and PNG files.

To actually customize your profile, you can add different modules to your site like ‘Graffiti’ and ‘Super poke’ to make your site special. 

Privacy Please

To make your site private so that only your friends can see your full profile, go up to [My Privacy] and click on Profile. There, you can switch it to ‘Have only my friends see’ to set it private.

Getting Started

Once your at your site home page, click [build & edit] at the top. You can add pages by simply clicking on [+new page]. Choose your page type and of course give your page a name.

Edit Your Site

Editing a page is easy. Click the edit

icon     When your at your page, Click [Edit]     again and actually customize what you want to show up in that module in Paragraph Editor. You can also choose Raw HTML Paragraph to enter your own HTML, but only certain HTML works.

Adding Stuff

If you go up to [Page Properties] when your in your editor page, there is a list of things you can add, like music, background image, and Special page effects.
