ANNEJOY PAINE

10/31/2007:  I (Blaze Columbia) have been talking with AnneJoy Paine over the past week and she has removed all the dresses that contain similar/duplicate parts and shading of some of my gowns from her vendors.  I just confirmed that the gowns below are no longer being sold, except the examples showing gowns from Nicky Ree And Ginny Talamasca. 

Both Nicky and Annejoy say they drew the shading.  The similarities are too close for hand drawing duplicates.  Either one of them obtained copies or they are getting the shading from the same source.  Knowing that #1) Many of Nicky’s Gowns pre-date AnneJoy’s rez date, and #2) Seeing that AnneJoy had duplicated my cuts and shading (as shown below) which I personally hand drew, I find it highly likely that AnneJoy obtained Nicky’s shading textures (and others) via texture duplication, whether by copying or getting them from someone who did.  We will likely never be able to prove anything.
