Episode 14 is hosted by Photography in Science student Chester. Chester introduces Mr. Blake has he interview two students from the William Blaine Beam Intermediate School in Cherryville, North Carolina. These students tell how they are using technology in Cherryville which is located in Gaston County. This interview was also recorded at the 2007 Legislative School Technology Day, Feb. 13, in Raleigh, NC. The W. B. Beam school was dedicated and opened August 1, 2004. It is named for William Blaine Beam, a former community leader and education advocate. Built on the site of the former Cherryville High School. Three classrooms from the old school's annex, the cafeteria and the band room have all been renovated and are utilized today. It is the only Intermediate School in Gaston County. It houses approximately 250 4th and 5th graders.
