My passion for sports started the first time my dad took me into the backyard to play catch as a child more than 30 years ago. Over time that passion allowed me to participate in sports as an athlete, coach, and fan and am still as passionate today as I was as a kid. 

In 1999 and 2001 my wife and I were  blessed with  two beautiful boys and I wanted to capture all the wonderful moments of their childhood and was fortunate enough to find a medium to do that. Through trial and mostly error,  I was able to grab some  amazing moments in their young lives and the  passion I once had for sports had become as strong for photography. 

As the boys started to participate in sports I wanted to bottle those experiences in a photograph.  The joy of their first soccer game, the accomplishment of a lap across the pool, and a host of other memories that pictures have allowed us to treasure. 

The central idea behind my photos is to capture the athlete without interference or direction. The result of this realistic approach are “action” photographs that are a true representation of the athlete with all the excitement, emotion, and intensity that sports brings out. My goal is to provide a photograph of your child that looks like it come straight out of a sports magazine!
