Driving Across a Suspension Bridge

I took this shot while driving across a suspension bridge somewhere in the Gulf Coast region, in either Texas or Louisiana.

The uncropped image is at right. You can see that I took it through my (cracked) windshield. No, I wasn’t looking through the viewfinder when I took this shot. I just picked up my camera from the passenger seat and started shooting with one hand as I drove across.

For the record, I’m not certain that this is a suspension bridge, but that is my best guess based on the picture. At the time, I was too busy driving and shooting photos to pay attention to the support structure.

If you know more about bridges than I do (not difficult), or happen to recognize this particular bridge, feel free to leave a comment below.
