Co-Founder - with Joel Hladecek - of Red Sky, a spin-off of Red Sky Films. Responsible for early growth, initial funding, positioning and marketing of company, and juggling nights.
Manager in Ernst & Young's Advanced Technology Group based in San Jose, CA. Systems consulting primarily for high-tech manufacturing entities including Apple, Hewlett-Packard, Seagate, Borland, Cisco and others. Specializing in MRP, JIT, manufacturing control via automated systems.
Sept. 1986 - March 1988: Senior Analyst - Peer Logic
Software analyst in software startup specializing in high-performance peer-to-peer networking software libraries for large distributed systems. Responsible for scoping and managing projects and quality control.
Responsible for managing 1.2 terabytes of data (a lot at the time) including critical DASD analysis and management, for large multi-national corporate data center. Custom SAS development to support management of 200+ unit DASD farm and 28,000 tape library. Also responsible for telecommunications network including fail-safe backup networking measures for international company.
