Car Go Boom.

Monday Nov 23, 8:30am: The Honda Insight hybrid committed an unprovoked auto-de-fey. The car’s entire interior was consumed in less than four minutes. Anne was driving on the middle lane of the 101 near Burbank when flames shot up from the 140 volt battery pack. She miraculously crossed 3 lanes of traffic in the smoke filled car, and made it to a nearby exit ramp. The the hatchback wouldn’t open, so she crawled back in the burning car to open a cat crate (the poor little critter was on her way to be fixed) grabbed Tofu (that’s the kittie) and ran. At present, I have only liability insurance on this, our only car. Just glad my wife (and cat) escaped the inferno.
