Turn On The Jukebox and Enjoy Your Visit Click on the 50s & 60s Jukebox link in the left column. Then select one of the long play music groups and let the music take you back to Ottawa in the 50s while you’re browsing OHS 56 Online. I recommend the Doo Wop group, but explore for yourself; there are many to choose from.
The Jukebox opens in a separate window so you can get the music started and then come back to OHS 56 Online and browse while the music plays. After you make a selection and the music starts, use the volume control in “the small Jukebox window” in conjunction with your computer’s volume control (you can close the main jukebox website window). Have fun and a lot of good memories.
Speaking of Memories . . . You may think you don’t have much to share on the website. But if you dig through your "stuff" (and your memories), we can create a fun website that we will all enjoy. The website will evolve as your contributions come in. And, of course, the content of the website depends on the nature of the stuff that you send.
Which Memories? Photos and memorabilia relating to you and your graduating class that are tucked away in that old shoe box or album up in your closet, everything is fair game. In addition to our high school years, junior high & grade school photos and keepsakes are always fun (see Jr. High Years & Earlier Years in the navigation bar at the top of every page).
If you attended a past class reunion and took pictures, send them to me for posting (and please identify as many people in the photos as you can). Send anything else related to the reunion(s) (menus, schedule, who did what to who, etc) to share with those of us who weren’t able to attend.
