"There is no greater pleasure than capturing a look, a glance, a smile and preserving it for all time. To catch a fleeting moment, to freeze a mood, is to hold life in your hand."

Travelling extensively in countries as remote as Afghanistan and Bhutan, Joey Bieber reveals the essential humanity that is in us all. Her love of people endows her pictures with an almost tangible warmth and compassion. However poor or disadvantaged they may be, everyone she photographs retains their dignity.

"These images are superb. You can feel each photograph."
HRH Duc d'Orleans
"... a powerful photographer... reflective rather than militant, romantic rather than sceptical."
Joanna Pitman, The Times
"She is a wonderful photographer who uses her art for the good of others."
Lord Hindlip, Chairman of Christies
"Melting the Stars is a show that should not be missed."
Michael Cockerham, Royal Photographic Society Magazine
