It’s a little past time to update this page. One of these days I’ll actually get around to that.
For now, I’ve updated a couple of the email addresses (for Cheryl and I), as well as Teresa’s PO Box in Ketchum. All that can be found at the bottom of the page.

Teresa continues her fight to regain strength and movement, a frustrating, painstaking, aggravating fight. But that’s what you do. There’s really no other option. Her gains, recently, have been micro rather than macro in scope...but they’re important building blocks for whatever comes next. She’s gained some strength in her arms, her core muscles continue to show signs of activity--however small & her trainers seem stoked with her overall progress.

Teresa is still early on in this lifelong battle. As she said just before going into surgery, with all the humor and deprecation she could muster, “ I never really wanted to be tested in this particular way.”
Her family needs to express our gratitude to everyone for their calls, cards, & offers to help out in any way you can. Teresa has an amazing circle of friends, and all your thoughts, prayers and positive energy will help us get back the same T we all know and love.
We wanted to create this site as a way to get out some basic info regarding Teresa’s accident, injuries and where she’s at in her recovery. Most of you probably know she was injured in a freak skiing fall. She was simply skiing along a cat track, apparently grabbed an edge, was spun around, over a drop, & hit a tree.
Without going all ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ on everyone, her injuries include fractures to C1, C3, fracture and compression at C4, C5, dislocation at C6, and fracture of C7. There was some spinal cord insult at C3, with more extensive trauma at C4/5. Her surgery involved decompression of the affected vertebra, evacuating a small blood clot, and fusion of several vertebra (C3 to T2). The extent of paralysis and her ultimate outcome is yet to be known, and while we know she has a long road ahead, we also know T will tear down the walls to get better.

The nav bar at the top of the page will lead you around the still evolving site.
