As a little girl, I used to wander around in the huge kitchens of my father’s traveling theatre company. My father employed more than 500 people, most of them actors, singers, musicians and others. After an all night musical performance, the entire “Company” of 500 used to dine together. Their food used to be cooked by chefs in huge cauldrons and watching them I was fascinated and I suppose this is where began my interest in cooking.

 

‘Asha’s’ restaurants is my humble offering to a culinary audience, which expects the finest indian cuisine, service, ambience and decor that they have come to expect from internationally famous world renowned eateries all over the globe. I believe though, that great food, ambience and service should not be overpriced and I have consciously kept the prices in my restaurants affordable to most connoisseurs.

 

Varied recipes have been collected by me over the years from various personalities from all walks of life, including movie stars, singers, song writers, lyricists and artistes . I hope that you will like them because a lot of effort has been put in to make each dish as authentic and as close to the original as possible.
