How much does it cost?

$299 to build it, and $20 per month to host it. That’s it!  Free phone support for the first 90 days after your site goes live.  (After that, phone support is $25 per 15 minutes, or part thereof).

What do I get?

    • Initial 1-hour design consultation

    • Your choice of templates

    • Up to five pages of content (additional pages cost $50 each)

    • Weekly updates (add some pictures, text, links, etc...)

Can I have pictures and video on the site?

Sure! Video clips should be around 10-20 MB each and photos limited to about 30-40 per page. Of course, you can always use third party video hosting sites like Youtube and Photo hosting sites like Flickr and we can link to those.

   

How do I get started?

Just call or e-mail me and we’ll arrange a time to get together and get it going!

How long does it take you?

If it’s simple, it can be up within a few days of our initial meeting.  If it’s more complex, then longer. Generally, within 20 days.

Do you design logos?

Why yes, I do. Cost is a $300 flat fee. You’ll receive your logo via e-mail in all the popular formats you need: GIF, JPEG, PDF, etc. which can be used on your website, letterhead, business cards, etc. We’ll e-mail you the design, and you can send it back with a couple suggestions. We’ll tweak it and e-mail it back.

   

What if I’m selling a product or service?  Can you handle e-commerce?

Certainly. For a one-time flat $50, I’ll interface with Paypal and create a method whereby you can accept credit card payments online. You can even generate and send custom invoices to customers via e-mail! (Paypal adds on a 2.9% fee each time a customer pays you with this method, but all things considered, it’s quite reasonable).

What if I don’t own a domain name yet?

Actually, that’s quite simple. A domain name is the unique text you type into the address bar to go to a website.  It’s the text between the www. and the .com. Like: www.yourname.com. Don’t own one? No worries... for $50, you and I will come up with a catchy domain name. I’ll check to see if it’s available, take care of the paperwork and pay the registration fees for one full year.

I own my own domain name already. What do you need from me?

I’ll need the username and password you used to create the account. This will give me access to make “behind-the-scenes” changes so that when someone types in your address, it will take them to your new website.

Are there any revolving charges I should be aware of?

Besides the $20 per month hosting fees, there will always be your annual domain registration fee between you and which ever company you bought it from. If I helped you purchase your domain, I’ll pay/renew it each year and just bill you...it’s usually about $10 per year, more or less.
