Dear Parents,

We hope you will enjoy having a little glimpse into the Orange Room.

We are all getting to know one another, learning new routines, new songs, dances and stories, and celebrating holidays and birthdays. We learned all about children around the world and the many different ways they get to school. Orange Room children made a graph of the different ways WE get to Brooklyn Friends.

We saw how we are all special as we closely studied our own features and those of our friends. We made self portraits that were the result of careful observation in a mirror. We hope you enjoy seeing them adorn our hallway. Now we are busy learning about trees and the changes that come in this Fall season.

As Autumn arrives in full regalia, we are enjoying noticing all of the changes, eating seasonal foods such as apples and apple muffins, and soon we will learn to identify many kinds of different trees.

Our group is vibrant, quirky, and lots of fun. It was great seeing you at Prospect Park and we look forward to a very happy year together.
