Tellico Waterfalls
The  “wild” Tellico River is in the Cherokee National Forest area.
We even noticed water coming down the side of the mountain.  Another waterfall??? ha
The Bald River flows  80-100 feet into the Tellico River here.  George loved seeing the Bald River Falls again.
Betsy and George visited the Bald River Falls back in 2002 in the Spring.
Betsy enjoyed seeing Bald River Falls again also. We could feel the ‘spray’ from the bridge.
There was a  TON of water coming over Bald River Falls it seemed.
Betsy says that this is one of her favorite areas.
This waterfall  is called Baby Falls---but as you can see,  it’s NO baby!
Betsy stood on the ‘bank’ while George climbed down to take pictures.
A view of Baby Falls from above the falls
Another view of the  Tellico River white water,  moving swiftly
Betsy sat on a rock while George climbed around taking more pictures
George enjoyed getting ‘up close and personal’ with the river!
Betsy loved watching the rushing water all around her.  What a beautiful place!!!

This area of Tennessee near Tellico Plains  is a gorgeous outdoor area for people of all ages to enjoy.  On Nov. 10, we traveled down the Tellico River Road for miles---listening to and watching this scenic ‘wild’ river.  There are two incredible waterfall in this area,  Bald River Falls and Baby Falls (which is NOT a baby)!
