Dunn's Falls in Mississippi 4/08

George, Jeff and Betsy traveled to Texas from 4/10-4/17/2008.  On the road,  we spotted a waterfall  and grist mill south of Meridian, MS---and you know that we just HAD to check it out.  It was so pretty---and a great way to take a break while traveling!!
Jeff took this picture of us--at the top of the waterfall--with the Grist Mill in the distance.
Dunn’s Falls flows into the Chunky River.
At the top of the waterfall,  looking toward the trough --at the grist mill
Another view from the top--of the water wheel and trough
Betsy and George walk down to the bottom to see the waterfall.
See Jeff in ‘jail’??!!!! Ha--He is standing inside  the Grist Mill.
Jeff took this picture of us--from above,  while we went down to see the waterfall.

Dunn’s Falls is a gorgeous waterfall.  We are so glad we saw it!

Dunn’s Falls was created in the mid-1850’s by John Dunn,  to power a grist mill.
George loved this waterfall also.

Jeff only wishes he could go fishing in this lake today---but we need to get on the road.
