Bio
Listening deeply, and responding from that quiet place. In this moment, what does this body need? What is moving? What is still? How can I help? These are the basic foundations of my bodywork practice.
My love of bodywork came through my deep interest in the art of anatomy.
I moved to Oregon from Wales in 1996 after completing a BA in Fine Art, painting and printmaking. I joined a collective printmaking studio here and explored further into anatomy through intaglio printmaking - a process involving lines etched and incised into copper plates
This curiosity and enthusiasm for the structure of the body led me to study Massage at East West College of Healing Arts.
After graduating in 2003 I continued to learn more about Sports and Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy; and brought all of these things together in Biodynamic Massage - a therapeutic combination of deep massage with cranial awareness and unwinding - through an apprenticeship with its developer, Todd Jackson LMT.
I am a member of the NorthWest Cranial Association or NWCA
