Yoga is a Sanskrit word that literally means ‘to join’.  It is an effective way of harmonising the body, mind and emotions.

Many common, chronic ailments are the result of self-limiting attitudes of the sufferer, poor diet, and lack of exercise.

Yoga challenges the idea that a person is ill simply because they think they’re ill.

It is always recommended that, if you have any pre-existing conditions, you consult a medical practitioner before starting yoga.  Yoga teachers are NOT qualified to diagnose medical conditions and it is important that your yoga teacher is aware of which condition he/she is dealing with.
