Bill & Bert’s World

We’ve come a long way from that brisk, sunny day in January that we met. We live on the outskirts of Seattle high on a hill overlooking the Kent valley with a front and center view of Mount Rainier. Being just 100 feet outside the Renton city limits, we enjoy a half acre of land on that slope that keeps Bert very busy nurturing and me buying new plants.

We have two very special feline sisters, Thelma and Louise, who have us well trained and love the tropical jungle that lives inside our home. We currently have 4 banana trees and several flowering hibiscus basking in the southern exposure of our biggest windows.

Bert is retired, although he works harder than most between the garden our Jetsons style 1948 U. of W. student architecture house. The open staircase between floors, high ceilings and lots of windows makes for a tropical paradise patrolled by our two white sentries.

I’m a confirmed Macaholic and lover of related technology. I spend an unhealthy amount of time performing feats of magic with these toys to the delight of family and friends and sometimes co-workers.

Take a wander around our new site and enjoy. Let us know what you think of our little peek at the world of BILBERT.

Welcome to the World of BILBERT

We like purple. So do Thelma & Louise. Then there’s Bananazilla and our new favorite Crocosmia.
