So the highly anticipated 10-year anniversary weekend back in Bristol has been and gone, hangovers are subsiding, and the dust is settling in numerous Bristol nightspots. Many thanks to the original old boy Dan Eames for conceiving the celebrations, and the team behind the scenes who ensured the weekend was a resounding success.

Aptly enough one of the ‘our’ teams managed to see off the challenge of the sprightly students to ensure the inaugural 5a-side reunion trophy came back to London in old boys hands. The Brazilians, featuring messrs. Morris, Dornan, Mills, Penman and guest keeper Chasle, emerged victorious on the pristine Coombe Dingle surface.

Word has also reached OBAFC HQ that the first overseas old boys branch has been created.
“From Coombe Dingle to Ghana, we’ll keep the red flag flying high...”

Jeddy Allotey recently returned to his motherland during the African Cup of Nations and took with him an old OBAFC kit to donate to a local team there - this is Nungua FC proudly sporting OBAFC insignia! Judging by the looks of the surface they’re playing on, the boys should feel perfectly at home on the rock hard Raynes Park pitches over the summer.
