These are the new By-Laws updated in light of the events of March 8, 2006. New By-Laws are printed in bold. Please submit any objections here or on the Wednesday Movienight Board.
Rule 1. Do not talk about your movie selection.

Rule 3. The person from the selecting committee (hereafter SELECTOR) whose night it is must not tell anyone the film he/she is presenting.
Rule 4. All participants in movienight must make every effort to watch the whole movie.
Rule 5. Any selection that is longer than two hours and ten minutes must be accepted by the non-selecting committee members (hereafter VIEWERS) prior to viewing. SELECTOR must tell VIEWERS the run time of the film in question ONLY (see Rules 1-3).
Rule 6. SELECTOR must make every effort to have his/her film meet the following criteria:
A. The film must be good.
B. The film must not be a chick flick.
C. The film must have been around long enough that its quality has stood some test of time.*
D. SELECTOR must have seen the film already (NO EXCEPTIONS*)
E. As of 25 February 2006, there will be no more prison films for the period of one (1) year.
Rule 7. SELECTOR and VIEWERS are allowed to invite outside guests but they must get permission from Coolbaugh (hereafter MOVIENIGHT'S OFFICIAL MOVIENIGHT ORGANIZER, or MOMO)
Rule 8. Anyone who is planning on attending must arrive by 9:30, unless clearing a late start with the membership. In addition, no matter how late you arrive, once you arrive you must stay to the end of the film.
Rule 9. Once an official SELECTOR has begun the presentation, it may not be stopped, paused, or rewound for any reason, unless it is in FLAGRANT violation of Rule 5 and/or 6 - or such measures are required due to projector failure.
Rule 10. Rules were made to be broken, but only for a Slam Dunk.
*Kung Fu Hustle is the exception that proves the rule.
