Most recent projects include the whole of Puccini’s Il Trittico for Opera Zuid in the Netherlands and directing revivals of The Magic Flute and Hansel and Gretel (see my Reviews page for press) both for Welsh National Opera in 2008. Two further revivals of award-winning productions by Richard Jones for WNO are planned for 2009: The Queen of Spades and Wozzeck, as well as Hansel and Gretel again in 2010 for Portland Opera, USA.
