We are so excited to be leaving tomorrow for the Cayman Islands! This trip was planned so long ago and we are so pumped to finally be leaving!!! We can’t wait wait to be sitting on the beach reading a book and snorkeling ... we went and bought our gear last night and we just can’t wait to dive into the beautiful Caribbean water! We here that that the Cayman Islands have some of the best beaches so we are so very exited!

FINALLY ... pictures of our new studio space! We have been all moved in for about 7 weeks, but we just have had no time to get a few quick shots of our new joint! Things have been going great since the move and we couldn’t be happier! After many emails of people asking when we were going to post some pictures I decided to finally do it! Before Thanksgiving, we photographed beautiful sydney! She was such an amazing little girl to take pictures of! For being 6 months old she did a wonderful job! We were able to get some great shots ... here’s a few of our favorites! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving ... we’ll be posting some pics from our Thanksgiving later this week! It was one crazy weekend with family!!!

We have ben trying to get lots of engagement sessions done before the weather turns nasty and it’s crazy cold out. Yesterday, we hung out with eric & stephanie downtown for their session ... they were so great in front of the camera and we were really happy with the images we got. Despite the insane wind, we laughed a lot and had an awesome time! Thanks guys and we can’t wait for the big day next July! Here’s a few of our favs ...

After 35 weddings in 2007 we have completed our final one! It was such a great wedding to finish the year out with b/c Matt & Sarah were so much fun and so laid back which made the day so wonderful! We have decided that we seriously have THE BEST CLIENTS EVER!!!!! You all have made our year so incredible and we truly feel blessed so if you are a wedding client from 2007 know that we really really appreciate you all & wish you the very best!

Last week, we had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the haik family at their beautiful home in Grand Rapids. They have the most adorable kids you have ever seen with the most amazing brown eyes! We had an awesome time and were able to get some great shots. What an awesome wedding we had this past Saturday in GR. Kirk & Maureen were such an incredible couple to work with and we were so happy to get to be a part of their wedding day. The reception was probably one of the craziest dancing receptions we’ve been a part of ... absolutely hilarious and completely enjoyable! We hope you guys have an incredible honeymoon in Mexico! This past Sunday, we traveled down to southern Michigan to photograph Ben & Aimee’s wedding in Berrien Springs, MI. The wedding took place on the campus at Andrew’s University and then we headed to South Bend, IN for the reception ... we also made a quick stop at Notre Dame for a few quick pics. The wedding was just beautiful and you could feel the love that these two individuals had for one another. Thank you both for letting us spend the day with you ... we wish you all the best!

Last weekend, we shot a wedding that was supposed to be on a nice fall day, but turned out to be taking place in the middle of July! It was absolutely crazy HOT for October! Despite the insane heat, we were able to get some great shots at Dan & Michelle’s wedding. The wedding went perfect and we had a blast getting to be a part of it! We had the pleasure of photographing Nolan & Trudy a few weeks ago in downtown Grand Rapids. We traveled to MSU’s campus a few weeks ago to do an engagement session for Paul & Jennifer who are getting married next summer up north. We can’t wait for their destination wedding ... it’s going to be amazing! We took full advantage of the amazing lighting and were able to get some great shots. We just wanted to let everyone know that we will be leaving today for a wedding in Minneapolis, MN and will not be back in the office until Tuesday, October 2nd. dave + lauren : wedding

We woke up early in Detroit on Saturday morning to drive to Augusta, MI (near Kalamazoo) for Dave & Lauren’s wedding. We hadn’t met with Dave & Lauren until the day of the wedding (they both live in Detroit & it never worked for us to meet until the big day), but boy did we all hit it off! It was such a blast for us to get to hang out with them & be a part of their day!
