About Us

“Bellevue Master's Commission is dedicated to Worship.  Worship is not just about songs that we sing, or even the music that we play.  Worship is an everyday choice on how honor God.

To live a life of Worship is to offer God something of value.  The Psalmist David once said, "I will not offer my King that which costs me nothing!"  As a worship program, we live and breath this everyday.  Worship is not as complicated as it is made out to be, it is simply giving God something that means something.

God wants us to worship Him in spirit and in truth.  That means to be honest with Him.  Don't hide anything, and don't try to make yourself better than you are.  Just come before him honest, give Him your life.  That is the best worship we can ever give Him.”

‘Love is the only freedom in the world because it so elevates the spirit that the laws of humanity and phenomena of nature do not alter its course.” (Kahlil Gibran)

We believe that love is the one thing that can change this generation.  But there is a catch; it cannot be our love. Our love has failed; our love has caused pain and hurt.  There is only one thing that can fix the mistakes that our humanity has made, the love that is created when we allow Jesus to live through us.  When we can let our own lives go, not worry about ourselves, and let God live though our daily lives we create an environment that will reverses the effects of the destructive nature of our society.

We are thrilled that you are considering Bellevue Master’s Commission as the potential next step in your life!  If you are looking for a place to do things you’ve only dreamed of, be challenged to the core of who you are, grow like crazy in all areas of your life, and be surrounded by people who believe in you, then BMC just may be the place for you.  When asked what the most important thing in life is, Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.  Also love other as much as yourself.” (Matthew 22, paraphrased)  Our mission here at Bellevue is simple: “LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE.  Everything we do is wrapped around that statement

Each year God decided to use Master’s Commission as a tool to call individuals from across the country together in search of a higher standard- a standard that isn’t average.  God doesn’t just use those who are gifted.  He uses those who are willing.  Whether you’re involved in ministry or serving another career field, He has called us all, and He’s calling us to serve.  Thus the heart of BMC is to serve.

As you begin to pray about what God has in store for you, we will be praying along with you that God’s plan will become clear.  If you feel God leading you in the direction of Master’s Commission, simply request an application, fill it out and send it in.  We look forward to hearing from you!

“We believe Jesus really meant what he said with, “What you do to the least of these, you do unto me…” This generation is ready for purpose, ready to be challenged, and pushed to new limits of our beliefs.  People today need to be met where they are at and loved with no strings attached. The kind of love that goes beyond age, race, or culture.  The kind that doesn’t just give the bare minimum or just enough to make us feel good, but the kind of love that gives everything and really costs us something.   It’s the kind of love that Jesus had.  Through Engaged Ministries we get to go outside of our comfortable church walls and really learn what it means to be “the light of the world.’

Be A Part

Herbie Thompson is a dynamic and humble leader in this generation. Graduating in August of 2009 with a masters at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Pastor Thompson exceeded his dreams in academia. In spite of his  commitment  to education, Pastor Herbie started a young adult group at Bellevue Christian Center after parting ways with his cell group that he lead. Three years later this young adult, Pergo Deus (the pursuit of God) is not only an outlet for young adults to continue to be challenged in their relationship with God but also striving after the best possible way to live. Pastor Herbie has been on the Bellevue Master’s Commission staff as a director since 2005  being involved with academics, public speaking, and discipleship.
Concluding graduation in August 2009, Pastor Herbie will be the Bellevue Master’s Commission Director for the 2009-2010 year. As he steers this program with a very talented and passionate staff, there will be many strengths added to BMC. Besides his relationship with God and his passion to always bring out the best in his leaders with his powerful public speaking, Pastor Herbie’s strengths are set upon the things that God has showed him. From “intense relational discipleship” to “a determining child-like faith”; “selflessness and serving” to “a humility to influence for God”; all these things that is foundation-ally sound because of most attracting character trait, “trusting God.”
