Blu-Ray Remote Control for PLAYSTATION®3

The PLAYSTATION®3 Blu-ray remote control enables users streamlined access to the PLAYSTATION®3 system's disc features. Unlike standard infrared remotes, the Blu-ray remote control uses Bluetooth technology so it can be used without having to point directly at the PLAYSTATION®3 system.

Memory Card Adaptor for PLAYSTATION®3

With the PLAYSTATION®3 memory card adaptor, game save information from PlayStation® and PlayStation®2 Memory Cards can now be transferred onto the PLAYSTATION®3 hard-disk drive. This allows players to access all of their old games without starting over, keep earned scores and items, and continue where they left off on their PlayStation® and PlayStation®2 games.

The newly designed SIXAXIS™ Wireless Controller for the PLAYSTATION®3 system enables gamers to harness the potential of the world's most advanced computer entertainment console. Developed by refining the popular original PlayStation controller, the de facto standard in gaming with several hundred millions units sold worldwide, the SIXAXIS wireless controller features motion-sensing technology to detect natural and intuitive movements for real-time and high precision interactive play, acting as a natural extension of the user’s body.*

The SIXAXIS wireless controller utilizes Bluetooth technology for wireless gameplay and the controller’s USB cable to seamlessly and automatically charge the controller through the hardware at anytime. Furthermore, unlike other interactive controllers, the SIXAXIS wireless controller is easy to set-up and is compatible with today’s monitors and televisions.

By integrating all these features into the original PlayStation controller design, Sony Computer Entertainment, together with content developers, plans to further enhance the gameplay experience of next generation computer entertainment.
