The Turner Center for the Arts is always looking for creative, bright, independent thinkers to volunteer or intern at our studio.  Applicants must have a clean background check and have an interview with the director and other staff.  Turner Center offers free supplies to all volunteers and interns.  This can be a big help in the art school world.

 

Also, while we don’t teach technique we do believe in the importance of learning at least basic skills in artistic media.  With this in mind, we seek out artist in residence candidates who may know more about a specific medium and can share some of that knowledge.  We are extremely flexible on times and availabilities.
