Saturn’s Stripes
From top to bottom: Saturn’s cloud tops, ring shadows, the thin band of rings themselves, and Dione just peeking over the edge of the frame. Most Cassini images are 1024x1024 pixels and are reproduced on this site at 800x800. But to conserve time and data volume, sometimes the probe sends 512x512 shots, such as this one.
