Vortex on the Horizon
 
At different locations within its clouds, Saturn has rain, snow, violent winds, and lightning a thousand times more powerful than in the skies of Earth. Saturn’s atmosphere is mostly made of hydrogen and helium, but it contains traces of other elements that combine to form visible clouds of ammonia, methane and other compounds.
