Blowing in the Wind
 
Spirit took these two frames five days apart. They clearly show the sand in motion, driven by the wind. While this planet-wide dust storm continues to threaten the mission by choking off solar power to the rovers, it is also providing a chance to observe one of these massive storms both from space and from the ground. These blowing grains of sand are another example of how the face of the planet continues to change day by day.
