The fall term is half over! It’s midterm at the kids’ schools.
T turned 10 last month. Oh, my. She’s so big. She’s playing soccer for the unfortunately-named Pink Kitties. Thank goodness they can play soccer well. You can keep up with her season here. You can keep up with her other doings on her blog.
Chris and I spent a long weekend in San Francisco. We stayed near the Wharf while Dash stayed in Marin with Grammy. The weather was delightful. We saw the new Academy of Sciences, the new Disney Family Museum (trés cool), and went to AT&T Park to see the Giants get trounced out of the Wild Card race by the Cubs. Dash had a blast with Grammy, too.
School is going well for all the kids. D is really getting good on the saxophone, or so I’ve been told. C is taking piano and I am trying to teach T to play guitar. This month I will meet with T’s teacher to see how she is doing in the fifth grade.
Dash is 18 months old and is talking up a storm. He is much less fussy now that he can tell us what he wants most of the time.
We’ve had lots of visitors this fall. My Dad and Pat will be here for a few days to celebrate my aunt’s 75th birthday and hang out with us. We hope to have Mom for Thanksgiving, especially since the kids will be elsewhere.
