1. •ACCOUNTABILITY
   

The Dept. of Social Services ensures minimum standards of safety and care. Additionally, the Dept. of Education monitors our education, child develop- ment and management standards, and fiscal responsibility. Our Board of Directors oversees the quality and integrity of all aspects of services and operations.

1. •FUNDING CHILD CARE
   

Eight-five percent of our child care costs is funded by State and County education contracts; 10% is paid by the fees from our low-income families; and 5% (or $110,000) must be raised annually from foundations & donors. We rely on these new and repeat donations to maintain our higher standard of quality.
