TIME IN MOTION
 
I had a professor in film school who used to snap his fingers every time he felt that a film should “cut” to the next shot.  In work by the directors he thought most masterful, the cut would invariably happen precisely as his fingers snapped.
 
I always regretted that.  Kinda wanted to see what would have happened in that shot had the director let it play out...
 
This is the beginning of a collection of my favorite long takes from scenes I’ve filmed.
