Bash the Trash is a group of artist/educators dedicated to raising environmental awareness through the arts while making connections to science, math, literacy, humanities and social issues.  We offer performances, residencies, professional development and educational consulting services.  Founded in 1988 by John Bertles as a music and science program, Bash the Trash now includes programs in music, visual art, storytelling, theater and dance – all with an environmental focus.
