BarrKing Hill is a 100 acre farm located south of Exeter.  We are a family run farm who’s objective is to become self-sufficient. This includes putting up a solar/wind hybrid electrical system to generate “green” power and growing our own cereal grains to feed not only our livestock, but also to use as heating fuel for the house & barn.  We hope to be “off-grid” by the end of the summer.

We now have a healthy choice available in our beef, pork & chicken.  Our animals are raised in a humane, stress-free environment, using natural ingredients that don’t include hormones or antibiotics.  Almost all the feed they consume is grown here on our own farm.  See the  “Products” page for information on our beef, pork & chicken.

We have been breeding beautiful German Shepherds for the last four years.  Our German Shepherds come from champion blood lines and are bred for temperament as well as quality.  We are proud to be producing puppies that are confident and well-adjusted.  See the “Shepherds” page for more detailed information on our dogs as well as information on current & upcoming litters.

We also cash crop and maintain a growing commercial rabbitry.  We hope eventually to own some sheep & maybe even some goats.  The rest of our menagerie consists of horses, cats and our non-breeding dogs.
