Despite her humble beginnings, Sharri has risen from complete obscurity to the heights of mediocrity and beyond.
Her artistic abilities became apparent in her early years. Unfortunately, no record of this point of her development remains. Her one mural project was painted over by an idiot with no respect for the arts.
She tried her hand at teaching and found that it warmed the cockles of her heart, so she continued to wield undue influence over younger artists for many years. Many of her students continue contact with her, which ensures that her heart cockles stay warm.
Her imagery wobbles back & forth between abstract, non-objective and the female form. Eve, apples, reptiles, symbols from ancient female mythologies and the Queen of Hearts are recurring themes throughout her work.
Sharri’s main goal is to stay occupied, off the streets and out of bingo halls. She hopes that the resulting images will tickle your fancy or, at the very least, involve you at some level.
