Inspiration for adventure!

My most challenging and extreme kayak expedition yet, to paddle around the South Island of New Zealand starting this December 2007. The journey over three to four months will consist of some very lonely, exposed and difficult coastlines. Yet one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world including areas such as Abel Tasman National Park and the inaccessible Fiordland National Park.

The purpose of this expedition is to inspire and motivate other people. To inspire people to get out in our great nature. To inspire people to try an outdoor acitivty giving them the extra energy they need. To inspire people to take a break from the stressful weekday and instead enjoy the silence of nature.

My previous paddling experiences in hard sea conditions - the Norwegian coast least of all - have given me the strength both physical and mentally. My passion for the nature and the pleasure to later share my experiences and thoughts are two strong cirumstances that are giving me the strength to do this journey.

During this journey my homepage will be regularly updated via SMS and satellite phone.
