Barbara Cervenka, O.P. paints primarily in watercolor. Her work has been exhibited at the Detroit Institute of Art, the University of Michigan Museum of Art, the  Dennos Museum in Traverse City, Central Michigan University and the Art Gallery of Winsor, and many other places.  For the past thirty years she has taught at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and at Siena Heights University in Adrian. She is a Dominican Sister of Adrian, Michigan.
