Our 1st Annual Stanley Road Stampede Party was a wonderful success! The weather cooperated and we had great turnout from the neighbourhood.

 

 

Special thanks go out to all who helped organize, contributed to, and participated in this years party. In particular, thanks go to Denis Grady for his fabulous party planning; Monica, Val and Verna for their planning support, phone calls and decorations; Danny Agajanian and all the FABULOUS musicians for providing us with awesome music that kept our toes tapping and comedy to keep us laughing; Daniel from the Dream Centre and the other Dream Centre helpers for setting up and operating the sound system; Toons the Clown for his tricks and antics (Happy Birthday Johnny!); Crissy the extraordinarily talented artist who provided her face painting skills (and sidewalk drawing with the kids); and all those neighbours and friends who BBQ’d, brought pot luck treats, made name tags, sold CDs, sang with the musicians, and came out to meet the neighbours!

 

We had a wonderful afternoon and look forward to doing it again next year.
