Since I put up the hop pole I have suffered a bit of a set back. The Tettnanger from last year did not return. But we bought some Sterling to replace them. They have started but are nothing like the Hallertau from last year.
As you can see the hops have grown up the starter poles and have begun to climb the twine to the hop pole.
My biggest problem is that I have Japanese Beetles eating my hops.
