TIME for SPORTS

Richard Foster Construction was established in 1997 with just a passion for carpentry and a seemingly unattainable dream. The growth and future expectations now exceed that original plan. Led by Master Carpenter and owner Richard Foster, the company has grown in directions he had never imagined. From custom furniture and construction to  sponsorships of major sporting events in the USA, Richard Foster's innovative line of sports clocks and detail-oriented style are demonstrated in all of his products.

His extensive media resumé includes guest appearances on the TV shows "Warehouse Warriors," "Something to Talk About," "Senior Moments," NBC news Connecticut, News 12 Long Island, radio interview on LIVE85 (Florida) and feature articles in The New York Times, Newsday, The New Haven Register, The Great Neck Record, New Hyde Park Illustrated, and Wood & Wood Products Magazine. All this before the age of 16! (Visit the In the Media Page)

In July 2003 the TIME for SPORTS product line was established. In February 2005 this division soared to new heights when the product line was showcased at the Nasdaq-100 Tennis Open in Miami, Florida. The TIME for SPORTS products were then selected as a sponsor for Pilot Pen Tennis 2005 in New Haven, Connecticut. The Yale University campus shop was impressed enough with the design and quality to order clocks personalized with the Yale logo, thus opening the collegiate market. TIME for SPORTS entered the PGA tour in February 2006 as a sponsor at the Ford Championship at Doral in Miami, Florida.

In 2007, TIME for SPORTS expanded, creating distributorships within the United States. Richard Foster currently holds 7 US Patents for his unique clock designs with the remaining designs patent-pending.

When Richard is not woodworking, closing new business deals, or going to school, he's just busy trying to be a regular kid!
