BRENDAN DELANEY PHOTOGRAPHY
BRENDAN DELANEY PHOTOGRAPHY
Travel photography is not just ‘images taken whilst on a trip’, but images that aim to convey a feeling of a place, people and time. It need not be afar, but even home can be approached in this way. It can range from landscape to ‘street’. My images consist more of street than landscapes.
More recently I have started to approach a topic in a more documentary style, for example the two new Greece galleries and the ‘Life on the street’ collection.
I’ve been shooting since I was 11 years old. Initially with an old Zenith EM, then the Olympus OM system. Since 2004 I’ve been using Nikon, currently a D3.

2009 has not yet been a productive year for photography, mainly because most of my time has been taken up with moving from Birmingham University to Kings College London and in the application and negotiation of a major European project. However, as of late Sept, I have started to post a few 2009 images.
