membership details

The number of members is currently limited to 50 with an annual subscription of £28.00, regardless of the date on which you join. Our year starts on 1st October and ends 30th September. Axminster Power Tools very kindly allow members a 5% discount on certain woodturning related purchases.

The subscription includes personal membership of the Association of Woodturners of Great Britain (AWGB) which means that all members are covered by insurance at Club events. There are other advantages to members of the AWGB.

In addition to the subscription, members each pay £2.00 per session. Half of this goes towards 4 or 5 raffle prizes (purchased from Power Tools) and the remainder goes towards demonstrators’ fees, refreshments etc.
