Approached by a long avenue, this beautiful stone farmhouse sits in total seclusion on five acres of lawn, garden and wooded hillside.  Spread out before it lies a panorama of rolling countryside, woodland, farmland and, on clear days the distant peaks of the Pyrenees.

    A lovely old pigeonnier forms one side of the courtyard in front of the house.  A large stable attached to the side of the house provides storage for the barbeque, bicycles, boules, and table tennis. In the sunny courtyard in front of the house , a large table and umbrella provide a relaxing spot for meals.

    The house itself is charming.  While retaining the beauty and simplicity of an 18th century farm house, Lasserre is a very comfortable family home.  The rooms are graced with ancient hand hewn beams, heavy oak doors and lovely old terracotta floors.

    Lasserre is our home for a portion of the year and consequently has been furnished to a very high standard with favorite pictures and books, family furniture, and top quality appliances.
