I am not the person to give you modeling advice...  except maybe to suggest that no matter how perfect your stats and no matter how gorgeous you are, it’s going to be a long-shot. 

What I CAN do for you is help you get your book started.   But before you read more here, be sure to read the About Tony Jones page. 

I like doing tests with models. I like helping. I'll get you pictures for your book. And I won't charge you if, in exchange, you'll model for some of the themes I'm working on for a possible future gallery show and/or book.

The stuff I'm working on for myself involves showing a lot of skin but nudity and in particular, frontal nudity, is NOT required. It is, however a plus. Just as being a free spirit, free of hangups and high school body panic is also a plus. Indeed, it's my opinion (and not just MY opinion} that if you want to take modeling seriously and want to consider making it a career, you had better get used to being naked in front of other people. Women's breasts and men's butts are increasingly a part of fashion. Genitals, no.

But I'm really not out to frighten and embarrass 18 year olds. So don't worry, I won't be too hard on you. Get in touch, even if you think you should keep your pants on.

I like to meet a few days before we shoot, to discuss the kind of pictures we want (no surprises at the shoot) and to get to know each other (again, no surprises). And meeting prior to a shoot lets me plan what we're going to be working on.

I appreciate the assistance of a clothing stylist on a fashion shoot. Assistance with hair can be useful if that's going to be a big aspect of the shoot. As far as makeup goes, I prefer using Photoshop for men and minimal makeup for women. In other words, whenever possible, I like to work one-on-one. 

Indeed, the main reason why I shoot more men than women is that shooting women is 80% hair, makeup clothing styling and 20% photography.   I like it the other way around.
