6,000 willows.......

Lots of work by Gary Sweet and Carl Shwartz and volunteers including your Region 7 VP.

The willows and root wads are all doing great and the whole is deeper than ever behind the weir.

Russ Smith took the lead on a project to install benches at DEC Parking Locations on the West Branch, 2 at Stylesville, 2 at the Men’s culb, 3 at the new boat launch. Russ got the benches and DEC installed them on concrete pads. One will have a plaque dedicated to Milt Sabol for his many years of work trying to get proper flows in the Delaware watershed. Be sure to look for this bench and spend a few moments thinking of Milt while you wait for a hatch to start.    7VP
