Dholavira -- a computer animation
Dholavira was the fifth largest city of the Indus Valley Civilization. It flourished from 2600 - 1900 BC at the mouth of a river delta in modern day Gujarat, India. This animation by University of Tokyo shows how the people of Dholavira channeled a seasonal river and built an extensive reservoir system around the city.
