What’s in a TUBE???
What’s in a TUBE???
We have spent a great deal of time at their facility. Their healing principal is based on the foundation of Neurological Down-regulation followed/accompanied by regeneration. This regeneration is coaxed into existence using the CCDT (Chronologically Controlled Developmental Therapy) developed by Ed Snapp. At the core of this is the simple belief I now have that: OUR CHILDREN CANNOT & WILL NOT HEAL WHEN THEY ARE UNDER STRESS!!! This fundamental principal became the foundation of how I proceed with therapy for my son & basically became the TABLE I do the rest of the puzzle (healing my son with Autism=working on the unfinished puzzle).
They use a three prong approach to basically down-regulate the neurological system so that it can heal. These three stations are: Table work (especially deep pressure massage), Tank time (suspended in water to simulate
the womb) & Tube time (like the picture above only
they use a rubber tire)
Like everything I learn about, there is a lag be-
tween learning about it & implementing it. We had
a “tube” from IKEA, but it was stiff & toxic. Finally, per Melanie Gentile’s urging I finally made one on our last trip to Mississippi.
Basically, what you see in the picture is 4 yards of 100% cotton stretch fabric (which might mean some lycra). I washed it 3 times in Oxy-clean, Borax, Baking Soda & hypo-allergenic detergent (1st go thru). Then I took the two ends & I tied them in a knot. I found a beam using a nail & hammer - basically I hammered until I found a spot that had a stud. I screwed in a basic bicycle hook at least 3 feet from all walls. We actually did it over his massage table. There are only inches between the bottom of the tube (with him in it its lower) & the surface below him (ground, bed, low level massage table). Next i gathered fabric at what I determined would be the back & I knotted the fabric on itself. Then I hooked the top knot over the hook.
To place my son in it...I simply grab the excess fabric at the front & put it under his butt & he leans into the tube. He will sometimes climb out immediately so I will knot the front after I get him in right above his feet.
More pics to follow...but this is a great tool for multiple purposes: 1.) you can easily move this to the center of any room to get the farthest away from EMF until this can be addressed 2.) This is the most non-toxic sleeping situation I have ever heard of when laundered regularly 3.) when in a dark room this simulates the womb which is the best environment to down-regulate the neurological system for optimal healing.
Note: the tube MUST be in a situation that when they climb out, which should always be possible except for short periods of supervised time, they are close to the ground & safe. Our massage table is 4 feet wide by 7 feet long & only one foot off the ground & perfectly safe for him to climb
down onto. I usually sneak in after he is asleep
& untie the knot on the front.

This is what a home-
made “TUBE” looks like
with my son inside!
We learned this technique
“Gecko’s” in hisTUBE!
without the table...
how do you do your puzzle?
stress reduction
When you start to wonder:
“Why haven’t I heard of this stuff?”
You have to remember...YOU HEAR ABOUT STUFF FROM PEOPLE MORE WHEN THEY WILL MAKE MONEY if YOU DO IT!!!
“HMMMMM”
“Nutra” & “Pharma” -ceuticals duking it out!
Only follow the trail of money if it’s actually the fastest way home for your child...
The total cost for this intervention in money is less than $20 & in time less than an hour! Combined with being in the dark & quiet...this will down-regulate/de-stress the neurological system like nothing else I know of. Do a round of deep pressures first.
This pic is a link to a tutorial on how to make a tube! (video)
I am simply showing you how you hang the tube you just made with the top knot right next to the hook & thru the big “hoop” of fabric you just created... (tutorial)
If you have read my previous BLOG you have read a lot about FuturesUnlimited ...
If you haven’t click that link & come back after you have read all about it.

DO NOT leave your child unattended in the TUBE. Also, Never put anything in the tube with your child. No: blankets, pillows, stuffed animals or loose fitting clothes. Also, make sure it is made of a breathable fabric & has a hole.
