The song starts -

‘Sorry is the word they came to hear. It brought tears to our eyes.’

This was a song that has real meaning for everyone in the project. The fact that Aboriginal Elders, white Australian supporters, members of the Vietnamese community, Indigenous community workers were all working together creating a new song about finally hearing the sorry word is, in itself, very heartening.
