For the EHS girls team, the Lafayette Invitational was a defining moment. Coach Steve Chapman says it showed the team’s mental toughness, competing at such a high level in adverse weather conditions: sleet, wind, cold. Both JV and Varsity teams finished in first place among 12 schools. Kaci Smith and Lia Saunders finished 1st and 2nd in the Pentathalon. Chelsea Coley set a PR in the pole vault, winning the meet with a vault of 9’0”.  Photos from those events and others are included below.
